Turneresque.
Looks like an illustration for "The Lfe Of Pi" by Yann Martel. Very nice indeed.
reminds me of Richard William's Shell Oil commercial. very nice.

Matt - cheers pal. I recall you are responsible for a very fine illustration about that book also.
Boris - I know this commercial. It has that funny sea shanty over it.
Oscar - I should have made it that. I love Edward Lear. I did some illustrations for The Jumblies some years ago.
Doodlers - no-one in my drawings makes it home safely I'm afraid....
The Shell commercial by Richard Williams mentioned by Boris above, was animated by the fabulous Russell Hall (with whom I had the pleasure of working together in a project for Paul McCartney) and designed by lovely Rowland B. Wilson.
I call it as I see it and it reminds me of Turner.
I would love to see a children's book illustrated by you like the three set up illustrations you did here.
