This months topic was "Godiva".
I did a tribute to several people vastly more talented than I.
My linework really doesn't match but I think the concept is solid (ugh - I just sounded just like a commercial producer....).
Also - I do a reasonable job of a Chuck Jones Bugs, and I'm pleased with that.

Well done, Elliot! I also love the two sketches from yesterday. Great movement in the top one and the bottom one is quite literally explosive and expressive! I know I've felt like that many a time.
Bugs Bunny is a character I have the most difficult time dealing with...his face is a mystery to my drawing hand. Kudos to you for doing a mucho better job than I could.

I find Bugs fairly easy to draw but doing a nice rounded, symetrical Mickey Mouse nearly impossible.
I've always loved that horse. Certainly didn't expect to see it. Nice surprise. Nice tribute.
Don - thanks man. I recall one of the first comments I ever made on your own blog was about a horse you had posted with a similar feel...
could've been a still/cell from the film! It's got the 60s feel to it for sure.
You should make more of these and sell 'em on ebay for hard, cold cash. Claim they're real-sign maurice noble--oo I'm evil.
