Another "real life" picture done with paint and pencils and everything.
Well...ink and guache and crayons to be exact.
Another large image.

These are really good. Your characters remind me slightly of the "actors" in "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
Thanks Tweedle.
The first images I ever saw by Tim Burton (who created TNBC) was a tiny sketch in the Batman Returns "making of" book.
Even though it was a tiny image, it was very influential.
I've since learned that Tim Burton was influenced by one of the worlds best illustrators, a chap called Edward Gorey, who I too was a big fan of when I was a kid.
I saw TNBC for the first time in a long time earlier this year. It's such creative genius. I possess neither the creativity nor the talent to produce the story or the characters. Not to say that I wouldn't like to learn how, but at this stage, I don't. You're quite talented though.
Why the red noses? Is it cold season? :)
(Sorry Blogger was being annoying and forced me to try posting the comment several times, but I forgot it puts the statement with the vague I-wonder-what-she-said-to-want-to-delete-it quality up.)
Periangel - Red noses are there because I thought it was about time I put some colour into my work.
It's interesting that you've noted them as noses as many people tend to think of them as an "L" for loser.
Tweedledopey - When you need to draw or paint or whatever you will do that very thing. I don't believe creativity is a thing we have much control over (well, I don't) and I do believe that if you really needed to do it, it would come.
I have found the same thing. I find that right now I am better at creating the stories than the drawing part...
(Peri and I know each other, hence the tag-team commenting).
I had picked that there was some sort of connection.
Bring it on I say - the more the merrier.
Some of my stories are linked through this post on Surreally Seducted.
