Pretty funny and pretty well done. If only this issue was so simple and if only we Mormons were so hatefully motivated.
I love how this world has turned into a place were we look to bash those we don't understand... this goes for Mormons, other conservatives, or anyone else who has made the lives of gays so challenging while also the same for those who attack Mormons or anyone else who might be standing up for what they believe.
Having gay friends and friends that are Mormon with gay family members this issue is pretty sad and pretty hurtful all around. Instead of everyone trying to understand where the other party is coming from there is just name calling and anger. Which we all know has solved a majority of this world's problems.
I debated uploading it for some time as watching this out of the context it was produced sets a different tone.
You are incredibly sensible to note that the issue is far more complex than presented here.
This wasn't produced for "Gay Wit Comedy Hour" or a PBS documentary about the history of marriage and should be judged on that level. This is not something that's designed to change opinions or encourage debate. I think it's part of a long tradition of a certain kind of comedy that I don't think is entirely unhealthy.
The only single political and social comment about this piece that I'll make is that if gay folk were given the simple, basic right of being able to marry who they love then we'd never had to make it in the first place.
Thanks for contributing your opinion, Kelly. It's not often these things can be discussed without hysterical arm waving. I hope you come back to see more of my nonsense.
(Lastly - I think I did a reasonably good job of aping both Seuss and Chuck Jones in the 2 weeks I had to produce this).
Hello Elliot. I almost don't know where to start. This is probably the most spectatular graphic attack on a fundamentally unethical approach to the world I have ever seen. The secular world owes you a dept. I am always against approaching complex issues simplistically, but I am tired of people demanding respect for their beliefs. Respect must be earned and can not be automatic, and if it must be earned, it can also fail to do so. Most organized religions fail to earn my respect, so I withhold it. This film has made me happy. Hey Kelly, I was wondering if you'd seen this.

You produced this two weeks?!!! That's amazing!!!
You certainly captured a Seuss/Jones feel here. Beautiful drawings as usual Elliot.
Great job!
Yep, and thanks!
