I had a very jolly meeting at Scholastic Books on Friday morning.
In their lobby they have a collection of presidential portraits painted/drawn/hewn by primary school kids.
It is without a doubt the best exhibition of images I've seen in a very long time.

I like any president with a bill growing out of his head, including the one in the picture and also President Duck.
My favorite is the devilish John Q. Adams at the top.
Incidentally, as I was leaving Scholastic, I spotted Paul Giamatti in the street, who I think played him in a television mini series...
