After many years of hard slog and tears and sweat, I've finally sold Boxhead and Roundhead to a great big important producer of animated content for television and motion pictures.
The sale required a revision of character designs.
Here you can see my originals on the top and the new designs on the bottom.

I've always had a preference for original designs, but I'm sure you have to do what you must. Now is it me, or did you draw man-boobs for Boxhead in the new design?
No, the studio requested them.
I don't think the man-boobs work. Are B & R supposed to be brothers or twins? I can understand a studio making requests, but I think I prefer the originals.
Part of the new concept is that Boxhead has had a sex change (he used to be a woman).
These little boobies are a hint at his past life as a female.
I'm not really looking at them as a revision of the characters, but as new characters entirely. Like you can't really compare them because they're so different. And I don't mean that in a negative way, by any means. It will be cool to look back after a while and for people to be able to say, "Wow, so those were the original characters that led to the new ones," heh. I'm very interested to see where this goes. It is indeed a complete bunch on nonsense.
I thought the whole thing was so ludicrous that it was obvious.
Sorry to those folks who bought it, it was really just supposed to be silliness.
And thanks re the demo - I used to to LOTS of vo work.

Genius. If Roundhead had Boxheads beard he'd be a dead ringer for Michael Schlingman! (Although he would need ears)
