The Woods

Last night we returned home from a wonderful weekend in the woods of Pennsylvania.
I was very much hoping to see a bear but the most I spotted were squirrels and a cat called Kevin Bacon.

Until Monday

I'm very pleased to say I'm off to the country for the weekend.
I haven't seen a proper tree or a proper river since Annecy in June, so this is going to be quite a treat.

Someone in Florida spent 2 hours, 48 minutes and 6 seconds browsing my blog today.
They examined 60 individual images.
And left not one comment.
I'm sure this happens to everyone boring enough to check their stat counter, but don't you think it's odd?

Drawin' Again

For the first time in over a year I have the room to spread out and draw.
As usual I start with nothing in particular in mind then I fill it out as I go.
Here I drew this hillside but couldn't decide what to put in the space.
Here are some thoughts.

Film Fest

The good citizens of Berlin, one of my favorite cities I've visited have decided to include Boxhead and Roundhead - The Infernal Machine as part of their Interfilm film festival.
What a great bunch of guys!

Darjeeling

Last night we went to see the new film by Wes Anderson, the feller who directed The Royal Tennenbaums and Rushmore, among others.
It's called The Darjeeling Limited and is about 3 idiot brothers traveling through India together.
It was very silly and very entertaining.
The film had nothing to do with pussy cats but there is a funny bit with a deadly snake.
