The wavy lines are my sloppy hamfisted version of Jim Woodrings delicate brush strokes.
And this is a cat called Phoebe.
This is a page of doodles.
While in America I bought a cheap brush pen to see what results I could drag out of it.
I have the opportunity to draw some pictures as presents so it was a good time to play with it.
These were photographed, not scanned, which explains the crappy quality.

The top image has the feel of a wood cut.
And Phoebe? Was she a kitten?
I love the cat, really nice design
Hello Elliot,
Great! congratulations :o)
My best
Mauricio
That's very kind of you to say so Mauricio, although I'm not sure why!
This is your most Chau's post yet.
Next thing you'll post will be five minutes poses and sketches from the zoo.
Next I'm doing snakes and lions tango dancing.
Nude.
And defecating.
in watercolours...Using mostly Green and pink and dirty yellow.
See what I mean, Elliot?
The man on the rock looks sad. Hope you are not so!:)Your brush technique is lovely. The browned gradation on that image... I like that a lot... is it the result of it being a photo?
Nice mixed media on the cat thingy- is that string that Phoebe is playing with in the upper image second from the right?
Thanks for visiting us again Elliot. We've been kind of busy and distracted too.
Best!
Doodlers - hello!
It is indeed a result of poor lighting that I got that sepia tone on the image.
And the cat is actually tearing up the paper - the "string" is thin slits I cut in the paper.
Hamfisted compared to Woodring?
*shrugs*
Good character though.
That Tony Blair-ish guy and the guy on the top right look great in particular.
