It is incredibly hot in my nation at the moment.
A pal sent me these lovely snaps of a baby koala descending on a bucket of fresh water in someone's backyard.
This is a good indication of the kind of heat we're experiencing because 1) koala's don't often drink water, 2) they're not often awake during the day.
No. is my new favourite picture.

ReplyDeletethey must be exceedingly docile creatures.....or is it the heat?

It's the heat - it's been like 111 degrees there on and off for weeks.
ReplyDeleteThis is also a baby, which might have something to do with it.
Still adorable....
ReplyDeleteIf I could walk around with it affixed to my shoulder...I just might..
P
Nice.
ReplyDeleteThis is a baby though, they get a lot bigger...
Eeep! Soooo Cute! I want a baby Koala to latch onto me like a backpack.
ReplyDeleteYou can do that and then shove pencils and books down its gullet.
ReplyDeleteI've never thought of Koalas as being scary creatures, but these pictures make them look frightening to me. It looks thirsty for blood.
