Last night I discovered that I had Cartoon Network on my digital signal.
I watched it for the first time.
This picture is a documentation of my experience.
What a fucking cacophony!
An assault on the ears in particular!
You know those Foghorn Leghorn cartoons where the rooster beats the dog with a fence paling?
It felt like that.
Also -
Oscar updated the picture of my dog, Ella.
I flipped it around.
Don't forget to watch the
new Boxhead and Roundhead Adventure!
I agree!
ReplyDeletehehe, never met you, but I disagree! I think it's really funny (tho I should add that people often look at me oddly)..........now poor wee ella looks like a george lucas high priest/priestess.., or a droopy eared rabbit, with a teacup on her head, it's a hoot! (for want of a better word). dawg drinks tea, dawg is suddenly ruler of the 'off world'. hmmm note to self........
ReplyDeleteAnd with that thinking I hope I never do meet you!
ReplyDeletePeople look at you oddly because you clearly have a screw loose.
Keep taking your medication.
Watch your mouth, digger...Don't talk like that to my friend Charming Annie or else!
ReplyDeletePiss off.
ReplyDeleteThe only charming person in your life is Patricia, not this Charmaine crackpot.
Only your mother would let Ella drink out of a tea cup, and I bet it was tea as well :o)
ReplyDeleteTell you one thing though, she is wonderful.
Nikki - What are you doing here? How's things?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes - Ella is best.
Thank your mum, she showed me your blog while we were visiting her and I tend to pay a visit every now and again but could not resist posting when I saw Ella.
ReplyDeleteSheryle showed you...of course she did...
ReplyDeletedon't sound so surprised, your mum does not totaly live in the dark ages :o)
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised at all, actually...
ReplyDeleteSo now you know the horrible truth that is Cartoon Network!
ReplyDeleteYou may never have to watch TV again! :-)
Chris, before moving to London I spent nearly 10 years working in television.
ReplyDeleteI watch as little television as possible.
I love that illustration. It sums up my feelings toward TV as well. I moved 3 years ago and threw the TV out in the pre-move cleanup. I haven't missed it. The weird thing is that if I try to watch something now (on my laptop reciever)I find I become really irritable.
