Despite having used Photoshop for almost 10 years now, I'm still not happy (or entirely confident) colouring my work using it. I'm reluctant to put too much effort in either I have to say. I achieve much nicer results with Painter.
Uli - with the exception of a few things at the start of my archives pretty much everything you're looking at here is done in Painter (an elderly version). Some of the colour has been done in Photoshop. As mentioned before, I really only ever use the thing called the Scratchboard tool, and the Simple Watercolour tool. Nothing I post here really shows off the software, but it replicates linework I achieve in an "analogue" format so I use it often.
This opens up so many questions about the dog. Your sketches always make me laugh so hard.
ReplyDeleteRealization of the ineffectiveness of the 'parachuteless parachute'.
ReplyDeleteHi Elliot, can you post some of your Painter work? I'd love to see what you do with it.
ReplyDeleteEveryone - thanks for all your thoughts.
