At Last

After many years of hard slog and tears and sweat, I've finally sold Boxhead and Roundhead to a great big important producer of animated content for television and motion pictures.
The sale required a revision of character designs.
Here you can see my originals on the top and the new designs on the bottom.

Nudity

When I was a kid I had a couple of Chipmunk LPs.
Even as a young 'un I spotted the subtle nudity painted into these knees...
I took me a long time to find the damned thing online.

Again, the amazing Rebecca Angelou but this time in the embrace of the overly tall and under bearded Tim Rauch.

This is me, Fran Krause who longs for my dark curly locks, and a Russian girl called Julia who works in advertising and hates it.

Return To Cortoons

Boxhead and Roundhead return to Cortoons - the International Film Festival of Rome.
Unless I hear about something else beforehand, this will be Brothers In Arms first festival screening.
Cortoons and the Italian people have been a big supporter of Boxhead and Roundhead, so we love 'em.

DC Comics Editor, Liz Gehrlein and her lovely feller Nachie, bought a piece of Boxhead and Roundhead history and hung it on their wall.
We think they're the best ever!

Sporn

Today I spent a lovely hour with Michael Sporn, legend of the NYC animation scene.
Was very jolly all round.
